CAUSE Marketing Agency (“CAUSE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an SEO and digital marketing agency providing website optimization, SEO content creation, analytics, CRM automation, Google Business Profile management, review management, backlinking, and marketing campaign services.

Depending on the context, CAUSE acts as:

  • a data controller for information related to our own clients, prospects, and website visitors; and
  • a data processor/service provider when we process personal information on behalf of clients (including lead and customer data stored in AI PRO).

Client Customer and Lead Data

  • Google Business Profile – business listing optimization, posts, and review management
  • SEMrush – SEO research and competitive analysis
  • SE Ranking – white-label SEO audits and reporting
  • Yoast SEO – on-site SEO optimization and content analysis
  • OpenAI / ChatGPT – content drafting and analysis support

Each provider operates under its own privacy and security policies.

5. Website Access, Content Publishing, and Optimization

With client authorization, CAUSE may access website content management systems (such as WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow) to optimize metadata, structure, internal links, and performance, as well as to publish and update SEO content and blogs.

6. Email and SMS Marketing

Where authorized, CAUSE may process personal information to support email and SMS marketing campaigns, including campaign delivery, automation, analytics, and opt-out management. Communication records may be stored within AI PRO to support service delivery and legal compliance.

Clients are responsible for obtaining lawful consent and complying with applicable regulations.

  • How Consent Is Obtained:SMS consent is obtained when you voluntarily provide your phone number through our website form,  and expressly agree to receive text communications from us. Consent may include checking an opt-in box.
  • How SMS Information Is Used: Your phone number is used solely for the purposes described at the time of opt-in, including appointment reminders, follow-ups, marketing updates, and insights. We do not sell or share your SMS consent or phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.
